Created as a final project at the Estonian Academy of Arts, The Secret of the Sixth Finger portrays the realization moment in a lucid dream. The painting depicts the common dream practice of counting fingers, where the hand at first appears normal but suddenly reveals a sixth finger. This impossibility signifies that one has become conscious while asleep. The glowing colors and blurred forms express the heightened perception and shifting textures of dreamscapes. It is both an artistic experiment and a meditation on awareness, perception, and the fragile threshold between waking and dreaming.
