About the Artwork
This artwork presents Vincent Van Gogh as a fragmented figure shaped both by internal struggle and external circumstances. The bottle labeled with a symbolic phrase references not only personal coping mechanisms but also deeper philosophical ideas about perception and reality. Inspired by the concept that an image is not the object itself the work challenges what we believe we see. The fluid background echoes Van Gogh like motion yet dissolves into abstraction suggesting instability and emotional turbulence. Unlike deliberate multiplicity this fragmentation emerges as a response to experience showing how identity can be shaped by forces beyond control.
